Craig Lawlor is an acoustic singer-songwriter originally from the Midlands but in recent years has made the North West his musical home. After fronting bands for several years, Craig’s motivation for pursuing a solo career was largely influenced by his love of Bob Dylan. His musical inspiration comes from American and English blues and folk music as well as from popular alternative British bands such as The Smiths and The La’s. Combining a variety of genres, his insightful and poetic lyrics sit on top of driving, upbeat acoustic guitar rhythms accompanied by his harmonica playing. He has recently been in the studio recording his single and EP after signing with Sound-Hub Records, due for release this summer.

"A professional service throughout; in particular Ross at Mike Russ Entertainments kept in regular contact before and after the event, and Jon Moses was SUPERB. I look forward to working with both Jon and Ross in the future."
"Fantastic service all round, communications brilliant- thanks Mike, friendly polite informative NO lies and they don't try and fob you off with another act. Definitely not back street artists. We had a Michael Buble who surpassed all expectations, it was for a hen night and he got everyone up and dancing and singing with him just super- thanks Luke. We have big birthday's coming up and first stop will be Mike Russ. We would recommend them one million percent!! "
